Democracy optional, participation required..

We have something to lose... VOTE! Not voting is not a protest, it is abdication. Sorry it took such a long time for me to figure that one out... and based on the statistics, I have not been alone. Time to get the boat righted, and the sails set and trimmed... remember:

CHARACTER COUNTS... it may take some time to clean out the sewer WE THE PEOPLE created in Washington... but if we start now but voting for people of CHARACTER at every level of government, in the next couple of generations it will be our habit to pick good people again... not just very wealthy people who promise us something they can not give us without taking it away from someone else... I don't know about you, but I want opportunity, not a safety net.
